I'm an artist and writer based in Berlin. I working across sculpture, moving image and writing exploring fatigue, labour and exaustion of the body thru repetition and substitution of the figure and it's dissolution in the landscape, while using available technologies and often chaotic gestures and repetitive structures.
I grew up in Treviso in a working-class family. My father was a craftsman and my mother a school teacher. I studied Philosophy with Giorgio Agamben and Visual Arts with Alberto Garutti and Adrian Paci at IUAV University of Venice, graduating in 2009.
In 2007, I lost my mother Sabina and my brother Francesco after a long illness. Unable to reconcile with my father after this event, I left home and moved to Turin. This rupture shaped a practice increasingly concerned with absence, embodiment and transformation.
Over the following years I developed work across sculpture, performance and writing, exhibiting in Italy and abroad. In 2014, I moved to Milan, where I worked as a graphic designer for Flash Art and later founded Momentum Journal, an online publication dedicated to artists of my generation. The project was later included in the 16th Quadriennale di Roma. In 2016, I received the Menabrea Art Prize and, in 2018, published TABOO, a collection of autobiographical short stories with CURA Books.
In 2021, I moved to Berlin. After several years spent largely outside the art world, including working as a cook, I returned to making work through video, sculpture and writing. My recent projects focus on exhaustion, recovery, repetition and transformation, often combining physical action, urban landscapes and digital image production.
I currently live and work in Berlin.
